Biomass Energy Committee （BEC）is a national academic group which is belonged to China Association of Science and Technology (CAST) and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. BEC is under the instruction of Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES) and sets to carry out activities and applies concerning functions in the area of biomass energy. BEC has good relations with Chinese government agencies like CAST, MOST, NEA, etc. Now BEC relies on Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIEC, CAS) and has its agencies in Beijing and Guangzhou.                                                                     more
