Major working experiences: 1990.6-1994.6:worked as a technician in the Guangzhou South China automatic engineering integrated corporation 1994.6-2008.1:held the post of director,deputy directorof the lab and held the post of director in the Modern Control and Mechatronics Pubic Lab,Guangdong Province 2008.1:worked as a director in the Integrated Technology Center of Guangzhou Energy Institute,and at the same time worked as a consultant in the Sanshui Jialida Textile Printing and Dying co Prof. Guo was rewarded with the May Ist Labour Medal in 2001 and special government allowance in 2006. He is specialized in the scientific technology research, development, application and extension of the automation and IT, having solved a great deal of key and generic technical problems in application of modern control technology in new energy, water conservancy, expressway, light industry, telecom and so on. He has acted as leader or PI in almost 20 scientific researches, including Guangdong Province Natural Science Funded projects, Key Breakthrough Projects in Guangdong and Hong Kong’s key fields and Key Scientific Projects. He has published nearly 20 papers in the core magazine, national and domestic important meetings, gaining 6 important scientific achievements, 2 of which won the Guangdong Scientific Technology’second prize and third prize as being the first executer. Meanwhile, he has been actively pushing forward the application and transformation of the research payoffs, creating favourable economic and social benefits.
